At Utilities Infrastructure NZ, we have the largest trenchless fleet in the South Island, comprising of five rigs equipped with the latest technology and auxiliary equipment. Our fleet includes mud recycling capabilities, aligning with New Zealand’s sustainability approach.
We pride our team on being experts in all aspects of HDD. This includes the use of directional boring for installing infrastructure such as telecommunications and power cable conduits, water lines, sewer lines, gas lines, oil lines, product pipelines. This methodology is particularly effective for crossing waterways, roadways, shore approaches, environmentally sensitive locations, or any areas where ‘traditional’ trenching is costlier, or not possible.
UINZ regularly takes our specialist teams and equipment around New Zealand delivering pipelines up and down the country, and can provide early contractor involvement to help with identifying fit for purpose solutions for complex project needs.
